Engine and Mileage

The 2022 Sienna is powered by a more powerful hybrid system, which will help you get the most from your monthly travel budget. In total, it takes a combination of a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine, two electric motors, and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) to produce Sienna's impressive 245-horsepower.

Fuel consumption is something the Sienna does very well compared to its competition in the minivan class. FWD Sienna models get a combined 6.5L/100km while the AWD Sienna achieves a combined 6.7L/100km. Compared to the Honda Odyssey, which uses a combined 10.6L/100km, this is a remarkable feat that helps put the Toyota Sienna at the very top of its game.
